Authentic Russian icon miniature of the Madonna and child. The framing around the faces is a gold tone metal with the faces peeking through. Purchased myself on the old Arbat Street in Moscow and hand carried back. Often seen throughout Russia attached to the dashboard in vehicles as a sign of faith and protection. Over 20 years old, never used and stored carefully in a smoke free home.
