This jacket can be considered a rain jacket, but I would not recommend wearing it in heavy rains. Buttons in the front as shown, although there is no hole for one of the buttons and it came like this when it was bought. there is a zipper that goes around on in the inside of the jacket, also shown, but there is no zipper pull, again the jacket was bought like this. There is an extra button on the inside as shown. Two pockets in the front and the jacket can be tightened as shown in the waist area and around the hood. The back has a slit as shown, but there are some snags/holes in the back which are shown. The jacket does have some oddities as noted, but overall still in good shape.
