ccs2024 @dshanno Thank you very much for the nice greeting and offer. Yes. I do have questions. 1. How do I get me products to show up in searches? Even when I search for the exact title they do not show up. I am willing to promote the listings if necessary. 2. I am following everyone who follows me. Is this the correct thing to do? 3. The products I have are private label items that we designed and had produced. What is the best way to sell them? Many thanks for any help you can be. CCS

I know that pictures and descriptions are important to sales. Pictures more than descriptions. People buy visually. Do I need to use backgrounds for my pictures? debwine56 @ccs2024 I’m sorry for the delay in answering! Too many other things needing my attention today. Regarding backgrounds, l've always thought a neutral white background was better. I think I've even read this on Poshmark's tips. You want your listing to stand out & you can more easily see the item you're selling & the background is not distracting from it. I've seen some backgrounds, that while pretty, it is sometimes hard to distinguish patterns & colors from each other. Just my opinion. 😊

ccs2024 @debwine56 I do have another question I hope you can clear up. It seems that I need to send discounted offers to people who "Like" my items in order to get sales traction. OK, I am good with this. When I send person 1 an offer of 10% off and they don't buy, the next time I send them an offer I have to increase the discount by 10%. I understand this.

ccs2024 However, when a 2nd person likes the same item the system forces me to jump immediately to a 30% discount?? What happened to sending the 2nd person a 10% and then a 20% discount before the 30%?

debwine56 @ccs2024 I honestly don’t know. When you do an Offer to Likers, it does require you to lower the lowest historical price by 10% along with discounted shipping. That’s why I don’t do OTL. I send private offers to individual likers for the price I’m comfortable with and don’t have to include the shipping discount. So you might try that. Or contact support and ask them why the 20% jump.
