Magnificent Sparking large Rhinestone Silver Tone Brooch. The 2 tone brooch has alternating circles of Rhinestones. The outer circle has a ring of Smokey Light Gray Rhinestone. Then a ring of large brilliant white clear rhinestones. Two center rings with the Smokey Light Gray Rhinestones and the center with sparkling clear rhinestone, all claw pronged. A fascinating piece in lovely vintage condition. Measuring 2-1/8 inches in diameter ** History** Kramer is featured in many jewelry books and was chosen to be Christian Dior's US manufacturer in 1950's. Beautiful designs and prong set Austrian crystal rhinestones make these pieces sparkling beauties desirable to collectors. Kramer was founded by Louis Kramer in 1943, and the business was closed sometime around 1980. While the style of the jewelry changed with the times, the quality of the pieces is always excellent, with stones almost always being prong set.
