Vintage Butterfly brooch/pin

Stamped 800. Silver. Italy. Vintage brooch/pin. Filigree and enamel. Tight clasp, but slightly bent pin (see pic). 1.5” x 1.25” This is a lovely, vintage butterfly brooch, in 800 silver with a gold wash. Such delicate filigree work. The enameling is a blue and amber, stunning against the gold wash. The enamel is done in a "plique-a-jour" style (loosely translates to "glimpse of daylight") which gives the enamel work the effect of stained glass. When held to the light, the enamel is translucent
