Small round genuine alabaster box made in Italy. This is an excellent little box with a spray of violets hand painted on the lid. The alabaster has an almost translucent quality to it. These alabaster creations were hand carved and very popular in the 60s. The gold tone trim around the opening is still beautiful with slight scratches and the hinge works good. Over all good condition. The original stickers are still on the bottom. This little piece has no chips, cracks or repairs.
