Mayer is a German company which uses recycled fabrics, mostly from army uniforms, in their designs. Christine Mayer first debuted her Peace Collection in 2004 and it no longer exists as of 2015. This skirt is from their Peace Collection which part of the proceeds benefit children's causes all over the world. Color is a dark green grey black. This skirt features a collection of utility pockets on the front. Button and snap as closure up the middle front. Pleating at the rear, under the hips/thigh area make this a functional and mobile skirt that can be worn often everyday or for an event. An additional fun feature (if you look closely at the photos) is that there is additional layers of fabric where the skirt sits across one's backseat. I'll just say it... it gives an impression of butt cheeks, which is a very... cheeky and fun little detail. Mayer tag is stitched inside. Made in Germany. Designer.
