Vtg 1957 MICHIGAN Artistic Creation JESUS Mother MARY Chalkware Sacred Heart Hanging Plaque. These are in great used condition. The Mother Mary plaque is in excellent preowned condition with zero chips or cracks. On the Jesus plaque there are a few places that have some chips: on Jesus face, underneath his one nostril (right side) is chipped off, on the ( left side) on his elbow there is chipped off paint, & in the front down by Jesus waist is a very tiny paint chip. In the back & around the edges of the plaque there are some chipped paint marks here & there. These plaques have matching batch numbers and were made as a matching set, we know this because of the numbers written on the back 790A & 790B. They both have an is a ink stamp on the back. On the right hand side of the plaque is etched: MICH.Artistic Creation 1957 and no date on the Jesus one. These plaques are very sturdy & heavy. Made in Detroit Michigan. Beautifully crafted & painted! Measures: 9 3/8 inches height x 8 3/8 inches width x 1 3/4 inches depth. Each one weighs around two pounds. comes with metal loop for hanging, could be hung up, or leaned up against a wall. Please note, wear and small areas of paint chipping due to aging.
