Omg this custom garment costs so much on Poshmark! Why, you wonder? Read me!

So, you run across my page and see the customized one-of-a-kind garments & fall in love w a piece but think damn why is it $60??? I'm here to explain that to ya! Cause most people don't think about it broken down. Every single piece of clothing plus every teeny tiny little embellishment that goes on them have to be individually purchased by muah. so that all goes into the price, plus it do take my time to create them which isn't free since its the only profit I make off my work. then you gotta consider poshmarks outrageous 20% fee tacked on the end. So heres an example! Let's say I pay 8 each for some shorts I thrifted, 10 for two sequined glitter unicorn patches, 3 for lace, 2 for bows and Crystals, 2 for fabric. so 25$ to create each pair, plus approx 2 hours @ $10 an hour for my time equals 45$. If I paid 20 for the shorts they'd be 58$. now this is before posh fees which are the highest of any selling app out there, so on posh they'd be $58 for the $8 pair, 72$ for the $20 pair after adding in the 20% fee they take from me. And this is just for a pair of shorts! For my custom jackets, you gotta think the average time a RAGE Against the Sewing Machine jacket takes 15 hours, the most I've spent on one jacket was 27 hours! and there's LOTS of embellishments per jacket! so no, I am not getting wealthy off of custom work. it takes a lot of seed money and time and skill for little pay so please understand that RAGE garments are price firm!
