Vintage 1980s Louis Vuitton Monogram Mini Sac W/Strap

Please note the condition of this forty year old bag - it needs some love! Read fully disclosed condition! Bag is sold AS IS. Authenticity & Vintage Details : French-made Original - Mini Sac HL (the original name for what is now called the Mini/Nano Speedy). I am the original owner and was GM of Louis Vuitton Bal Harbour, Florida in the 1980s — this came straight from Paris to our store. Date: 1985 (early date codes were sometimes missing on these small bags — common and correct for the period). Leather end tab with hole is present. Padlocks were never included — they were sold separately as an optional accessory. Zipper pull, rivets and end tabs have no “Louis Vuitton” engraving or stamping — correct for mid-1980s French production (LV didn’t start engraving most hardware until later in the decade). Beautiful natural honey patina, clean interior, perfect upside-down LV alignment on the back, continuous monogram on sides, and mustard-yellow stitching — all textbook 1980s French hallmarks . Strap is period-correct French Co.LV - made in U.S.A. Please note condition: 1)The zipper has pulled away from the seam and will need FULL replacement. 2) Leather is darkened (natural patina) - some minor leather wear along the edging. 3) Zipper head is well oxidized. 5) Metal clasps on straps are oxidized (silver - not brass) Bag measures 6" x 4" Strap is 42" total length from clasp to clasp and has a shoulder grip. DOES NOT INCLUDE THE LV SCARF.
