Rare Antique Art Deco 1920s Hidden Mary Medal Onyx Marcasite Sterling Silver Necklace. The Chain is marked 925 on the loop of the clasp however, not visible enough for Pictures. Guaranteed Sterling Silver. I do not like to remove Rich Patina on such Rare items as many Collectors prefer Original. The Sterling Silver Chain measures 16" long. The Pendant is marked Sterling as shown in photos and measures 1" long including bail. The Pendant features an Onyx cabochon with Marcasites for Accent. Now, to the Most Interesting part of this Heirloom Treasure, the Hidden Mary Medal is hinged on the back and is the famed 1830 Miraculous Medal, also known as the Medal of Our Lady of Graces. I love This Exquisite Old Beauty in all of its Glory with the Secret Medal that makes it so Interesting. It's in exceptional condition after 100 years. Item E57.
