Handmade Spring & Sunshine Porch Lampshade Chandelier PLEASE SEE VIDEO

This is the “Spring & Summer Sunshine” shandy that was handmade by my mother who almost died two and a half years ago after being thrown from a golf cart. As a result of having a severe traumatic brain injury, loss of hearing, loss of smell, etc. this became a source of therapy for her. Hours and hours were spent on each shandy and each strand tells its own story. By me sharing this information, it is not for pity. But rather, to tell the story behind the shandy. Details about the “Spring & Summer Sunshine” shandy are as follows: There are a total of 32 strands…the longest strand is approximately 35” long. All strands are mixed with a variety of beads such as glass beads, some plastic beads, various metals, various gemstones, real natural stones, etc. There are far less plastic beads than the rest of the beads. The strand colors are: Jade green, white, assorted peachy/orange/champagne colors, sage green, and yellow gold colors. The lampshade is comprised of various white with yellow and green details, light orange fabric patterns, darker yellowish colors and tied on strip by strip. The lampshade itself is approximately 12” long and approximately 16 1/2” wide. The shandy can be used on your porch, outside and/or even on a tall standing lamp. No matter what, it is always a statement piece.
