Originally purchased at the Betsey Johnson store at the Galleria Mall in Dallas, TX in the mid 1990's. Part of the Betsey Johnson Evening collection the dress is embroidered stretch velvet in a deep merlot wine color. The dress has adjustable straps for a custom fit and the bottom is trimmed in matching fringe. Perfect for a formal event or a night out. The dress is in almost mint condition with only the fabric tag missing. Measurements in Inches: Bust 32 Waist 28 Hips 36 Length 36 without fringe - fringe length is 10 inches Fabric tag is missing - made of stretch velvet for a body conscious fit

qscouturecloset I have been trying to come up with a way to give you the best possible answer. Since I am not busty, I decided to put on my best push-up bra and add my take-outs. I measure just under 37 inches at my fullest when I did that. Then, I put the dress on and it fit over the bust fairly well and gave me pretty decent cleavage. So, from my point of view, it fit fairly well over the 36 inch bust but it was a bit bindy under the bust when I took a deep breathe. I think that is because (continued)

qscouturecloset the seam at the top of the dress does not have as much give as the fabric. I think your under the bust measurement might be just as important as your bust measurement. Also, consider your body type. I measure about 31 inches under my bust when I breathe - my ribcage expanded a lot when I had kids and now I lift weights regularly so I am more muscular than I once was. Also, if it helps, the mannequin I use has a 34 inch bust. I hope this helps,
