1800s EXTREMELY RARE Pomander Ring Sterling Silver

Extremely Rare!! Circa 1800s Sterling Silver Pomander Perfume/Scent Ring. Size 7.5. Once upon a time, intoxicating fragrances were worn as a form of aromatherapy, wrapped in the beauty of ornaments. Ancient Egyptians wore them and they regained popularity in the 1800s. A little sponge or cloth is to be soaked in your favorite scent and placed into the Pomander balls. You remove with thin tweezers or a toothpick. Every major Jewelry Company, from Cartier to Tiffany's has created and sold some scented jewelry. This Treasure has an odd hallmark, I believe it's been rubbed off by wearing however, I tested for Sterling Silver and it passed with flying colors. I posted a picture of what's left of the Hallmark.
