LOWERED PRICE!! Vintage Mexican Tile Carved Wood Trunk - Handmade

PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY! This is a one of a kind VINTAGE item This is an awesome little trunk! Very nice vintage condition. All tiles are intact & there are no major cracks/chips *(SEE PHOTOS) This is a very unique hand carved, wood trunk with beautiful hand painted tiles from Mexico. APPROXIMATELY: 8.5" H with closed lid 7.5" H with lid open 10.5" D 14.75" L Colours are very deep blue (almost black), yellow, sage green & white I have owned this piece for over 20 years & originally purchased in Ventura, CA. at a little shop. I am leaving the cleaning of this item to the seller. I did not want to oil it, as I prefer the way it looks with it's beautiful aged patina. There are a few slight imperfections that I HIGHLIGHTED in the PICTURES, but no major flaws & hardly noticeable unless you're looking for them. They just add to the character of this piece. The TOP does NOT close all the way, but that, is how I purchased it & it was never an issue for me. I've displayed books, cds & cassettes, fake greenery & stored photographs in this box. The hardware could probably be tapped lightly to ensure the top closes & lines up flush, but I never cared to force it. I love it the way it is. Listing price reflects flaws.
