Dementia is brutal. My mom who is 94 has it but comparatively mildly. I’m also blessed to have siblings near her who can help. I have a good friend in a situation similar to yours. Bless you for what you are doing for your mother, she deserves it, of course, but it’s still so hard.

@ssmohler yes she deserves it, she is a great mom always looked out for me. I do just need a little help. and the menopause makes it worse I'm going into my 4th yr with that and haven't had meds. I'm trying to tackle too much at once . but they say God doesn't give you more than you can bare. But mom and I do laugh a lot together. And when she forgets her thoughts we say ..oh that thought took the train and left the station lol. she's precious 💞

I just want to enjoy all the time I have left with her before it's too late. and we always say goodnight I love you. we share a room in a group home that holds 15 people
