Brutalist Jewelry - Mid Century Modern - Horseshoe Nail Necklace Pendant

Unique pendant necklace hand made from horseshoe nails! Crafted in the brutalist style that was popular during the mid-century modern era. This excellent example of the horse shoe nail genre dangles from a neck wire originally made for a slender neck. The original owner & collector was fine boned. The pendant can be easily slipped off to hang form a longer chain, leather thong or black rubber cord. . The pendant measures 2” wide and 4” long. There is some soft patina to the metal nails which can really only be found in much loved pieces. Extremely well made, comfortable to wear and in excellent vintage condition.
