Charel jewelry is a brand of costume jewelry known for its intricate designs and high-quality craftsmanship. What a beautiful shade of red thermoset this set has! The mid modern design is stunning, with asymmetrical shiny silver flaps on each red panel. The necklace measures 15.5 inches in length excluding the hook and is 5/8 of an inch wide. It is marked Charel on the back of the panel attached to the hook extension. The bracelet is measures about 7 inches in length and 7/8 of an inch wide. It is marked Charel on the last panel with the fold over clasp attached. The earrings measure 7/8 of an inch by 7/8 of an inch and are marked Charel on the clips. There is some play to the clips but I wore the earrings for 20 minutes to test them and they stayed in place. All of the pieces are beautiful and in very good vintage condition with a few, light scuffs to the red lucite panels and normal vintage wear to the backs of the pieces.
