mrsjrounds @rutledgelouise4 There are a lot of accounts posting comments like that trying to get contact info from folks. I flag as spam and then poshmark removes the comment. If you look at other listings of new closets, you'll see the exact same messages on various listings. If you search "poshmark scam" on the internet, there's a reddit thread with all kinds of stories about what goes on. Hope a buyer for your shoes shows up soon!

mrsjrounds @rutledgelouise4 also, if you get any messages "from poshmark", be really careful! Check the app before you give any info! If an item sells, it'll say, "sold" on it. and you won't need to confirm any orders. or give any card info.

rutledgelouise4 @mrsjrounds thank you so much for informing me of this I just got an email saying they need my card information and have to have $200 in my account before I can confirm my sold item. is this something Poshmark asks for and do I have to have $200 in my account before I can confirm a sell and get the funds? because that's the whole reason I'm doing this is because I'm unemployed because I'm disabled and I don't have $200 in my account.

mrsjrounds @rutledgelouise4 no, that's not poshmark! when something sells, you'll have a notification in the app and the item will say, "sold"

mrsjrounds @rutledgelouise4 all you'll need to do is pack your item(s) and either print the label (poshmark has that ready) or choose the scanning label option (that's what I've done. the postal worker scans a QR code on your phone and prints it for you! handy when you don't have a printer...)

mrsjrounds @rutledgelouise4 poshmark will get the funds into your "poshmark account" when the item is delivered to the buyer. you can then transfer the money to your bank account, (so they'll need that info. but you can do it in the app) but you don't need a minimum balance or anything! sorry I didn't check sooner! hope this helps❤️
