sallydehart After 5 years teaching with a masters degree and teaching for the University, a class of student teachers, I was making a whole $23K a year. I went back and got a second masters and then after letting me set up their fancy art program, they let me go because I was too expensive at a whole $62K. They hired someone fresh out of school and she quit.

hazelnolive @sallydehart I feel your pain. I’ve been a high school teacher for decades. Thank goodness I love the job- I’m definitely not there for the salary. Lol.
