Rare Vintage Hermes Scarf "Ceres" Silk Twill Carre 1967 F. Faconnet

A gorgeous, vintage Hermes scarf called "Ceres", after the goddess of the earth, the harvest and motherhood, designed by Francoise Faconnet. Designed in 1967, this classic carre features Ceres as the grain goddess in the center of the design surrounded with her life's overflowing bounty and beauty. The tags were removed by the previous owner. The colors are vibrant and the hems are plump and hand-sewn. The condition is excellent, lightly worn. We note a tiny mark on the white silk near the blue border and another small faint dark line in the border fabric, see photos. 34” x 34”
