SOLD! Gigi Clark, Gorgeous Iridescent Purple Full Circle Maxi Skirt

Stunning Gigi Clark (mode atelier, Los Angeles-Berlin) purple taffeta skirt with an extraordinary iridescent sheen. (You see purple and pewter/black tones depending on the lighting.) Size Small; 13" across waistband / fits up to 26", there is no stretch. Closes with a zipper and clasp. (It's not closed on the mannequin since the waist wasn't small enough!) This design has the high / low feature (32 1/4" long in the front and 41 1/2" in the back). There is a huge amount of fabric used, measuring over 6 ft across when laid flat (80"). There is a small, inverted/box pleat down the skirt's front and back center to further add to the volume. Expect some fabulous swishing while wearing this! I'm unsure when this was made, but it's probably vintage. Comes from a pet-free and smoke-free home. In excellent and clean condition, would benefit from being pressed after living in an overstuffed closet! Dry clean only.
