Tyrus Wong Framed VTG Watercolor Prints a Trio of Seasons, Disney Famed Artist

Rare Vintage Tyrus Wong (1910-2016) Trio framed art prints of Spring-Farmer, Summer-Scholar & Autumn-Wood Gatherer. The art is in the orginal frames. There are minor scratches on the framing. Prints are in excellent condition. These pieces are believed to be completed in the 1960's. Dimensions are approximately: 31.5" x 14" Each frame Tyrus Wong was the illustration inspiration behind the 1942 Disney Classic, Bambi. He also served in the art department of many films, either as a set designer or storyboard artist, such as Rebel Without a Cause (1955), Around the World in 80 Days (1956), Rio Bravo (1959), The Music Man (1962), PT 109 (1963), The Great Race (1965), Harper (1966), The Green Berets (1968), and The Wild Bunch (1969), among others. After he retired, Tyrus was well known for the elaborate kites he design in California. This Chinese American is a treasure to our countries history. These three pieces of artwork would look fabulous with Chinoiserie decor style. Not to mention a fabulous conversation piece!
