This metal copper colored art decor item has lovely chimes and glass beads attached to a thin metal hamsa ("hand") shape with an evil eye in the center and a fish below. The hamsa (Arabic: خمسة, romanized: khamsa, lit. 'five', referring to images of 'the five fingers of the hand'), also known as the hand of Fatima, is a palm-shaped amulet popular throughout North Africa, Turkey, Greece, and in the Middle East and commonly used in jewelry and wall hangings. The Turkish version of the nazar (evil eye) boncugu depicts it as a circle of dark blue glass with 3 smaller circles set within it.
