This is from the early aughts 2000-2002. I got it as a kid and used it a couple times and it got stuck in the art closet and here it is! Still with detailed instruction booklet that teaches you to paint lovely nature scenes with birds and flowers, textured paper, large brushes, ceramic Chinese brush stand, black ink well and ink stick, small ceramic pot for water, square paint cakes, and full tubes! All in a clunky plastic book box with the protective plastic still on it. They still sell these on Amazon and other places, retail for $19.99 but they come with less brushes and less paints and less nostalgia. It's over 20 years old so it has a couple small dents around the edges, but don't we all? Still great and perfect craft to pick up and be mindful and creative for kids on breaks from school or adults looking to do something meditative.
