This is a genuine opal that was dyed to make it the color of the very rare paraiba tourmaline. It is gorgeous and has flashes of green that give the opalescent beauty to the gemstone. The center stone is accented by earth-mined white zircon. It is not cubic zirconia. This is an elegant ring that has a carat weight of 1.05. It is rhodium treated to prevent tarnishing and to preserve the bright shine of the silver. It is stamped with the maker's mark and 925.
