Such a gorgeous vintage item I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s a little bit difficult to find information on these bags, as far as exactly when and where they were made. From what I understand, they are mid-century. I tend to guess that it’s probably a bit earlier than that just knowing when mother of pearl was at peak popularity. However, from my research they are being listed as vintage and not antique. It was handcrafted in Germany. The chain and closures are brass. She has a purpleish brown lining that has a little rip in it, but great condition for the age of the item. The mother of pearl is lustrous & flashes all different colors. None of the tiles are cracked or dull. I hope that you will take pleasure wearing such a beautiful item. Be the bell of the ball, a blushing bride, or just wear it with some jeans and rock star out. Whatever you choose to wear this with, it‘ll be a statement. You’ll receive tons of compliments throughout the day. Jam out with your clam out, lol! CONDITION: Great vintage condition with some slight wear to the lining that is consistent with age. Please note that some signs of wear are normal for vintage and pre-loved items. The vintage and antique items here are hand crafted, and humans are not perfect. I love to know that someone used their hands and made a magical item that still lives today.
