Linda Morgan Smith (aka, Sister Raya) is a self taught outsider folk artist who paints her culture and life around her. She has lived in New Orleans for a very long time and is taken to painting the daily life of the culture around her. This unique and beautiful artwork measures 16 x 20 inches. Canvas is stretched over a 3/4" thick wood frame and is also signed on the back and dated 2005. The piece is in excellent condition with vibrant unfaded colors. Linda Morgan Smith's artwork is in the private collection of Richard Simmons, Drew Barrymore, Anson Williams, and the late Senator Ted Kennedy.
