Vintage Hand Carved Wooden Jewelry Trinket Memorial Box Himalayan Jungle Wood

This exquisite hand-carved wooden jewelry box is a timeless piece from India. Crafted from Shesham wood, it features intricate designs and a beautiful finish. While not quite old enough to be antique, this is very vintage and the hand-carved details of the box are so beautiful. Please see last 2 images reflecting lightly loose nail and hinge - I believe it could be pounded in tightly, but I didn't want to do anything to the vintage integrity of the box. Also, the box does not self prop open - it is shown with a small stick as an example to show partially open. This was used by a wonderful woman for a lifetime of collecting special items. It would be perfect for jewelry, trinkets or anything you wish to keep near and dear. I recently saw one as a pet memorial box and thought that was such a beautiful use as well.
