This 22 inch necklace consists of genuine caramel colored copal beads. I purchased this from a reputable vintage and specialized jewelry seller in Ellicott City MD and was told this is genuine Baltic copal. I tested the beads myself using acetone, and they passed as natural by not being affected at all by the acetone. They are also all irregular in shape and markings which also lends credibility to the provenance. The metal beads are metal, but I can’t test them to say for sure they are brass. Strung on fiber with a bead and loop closure. This is a beautiful, unique, substantial statement necklace. From a smoke free home with a dog.
