@lydiadan1, I think I’ve seen it in your listings. Jensen is another who always signed his work. It seems that the Danish silversmiths shared many of the same designs. If it’s not signed by Georg Jensen, it’s more than likely one of his protégés. Danish silver is always done with great skill too so if a piece doesn’t look simply A+, it’s probably a copy.

@laurieahroy yes. I believe it’s a copy. That’s so weird it’s EXACTLY. The same as his work. How do they get away with it ?i had the Brooch too totally identical. Anyways. I wear jewelry I like it doesn’t have to be by a famous designer. Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder. lol thanks for getting back to me. 🌺🌼👍🪻

@lydiadan1, same here. I like what I like, label or not 🤷🏻♀️ I think with the Danish and the Mexican silver, they must have had an open policy on designs. In the Mexican silver, I’ve seen a few designs I’m absolutely sure we’re by Spratling but either not signed or signed by others. I’ve also read Margot de Taxco had given rights to her designs for payment of debts owed when she had financial trouble.
