The first Kevlar helmets were issued to the 82nd Airborne Division in October 1983 ahead of the Grenada invasion. Prior to that it was the steel pot. This helmet comes with the fiberglass helmet liner and webbing. (You will want to get your own leather sweat band.) It also has a vintage camo cover as shown. No idea how the hole got there, but you can throw a stitch in it if it bothers you. Perfect for home defense / preppers.
