This is a phenomenal gown homemade. Through community and antique dealers consensus, this appears to be Civil War era or very early 1900s. Has 17 button holes. Buttons are black beads with single hole and hand sewn. Missing one button which will be added to the package on delivery. Measurements based on mannequin size are approximately Collar is 15 inches bust 34 inches, waist 30 inches, arm length 21 inches, dress from nape of neck 56 inches with an additional bump out material in the back ? for bustle. No makers mark or labels. Heavy cotton ? muslin. Some discoloration as shown in photo, but did not dare wash. Exciting barn lockers find! Treasure of past.
