Models are both wearing the regular adult OS size. Bundle for a price! The last of the hats I had custom made for an event I founded & chaired several years ago called Arctic Fever, originally made by Vermont Originals, now part of a large import hat company. Back then the company was small & the hats were made by women in their homes, on Viking knitting machines & the finished knit hats sent to other home sewers to line them. A literal cottage industry. The yarn is 100% Peruvian wool, fully lined in Polar fleece & they are guaranteed WARM. They come in 2 colors, blue with ivory design & ivory with ecru design. The blue is the intense blue color of a clear winter sky, almost periwinkle. I have limited supply left in 2 sizes in each color. When I discovered the company was going into Chapter 11, I placed one last order of 2 dozen. I have used them for gifts & prizes and it is time to close them out. You can no longer purchase small quantities from the new iteration of the company. Size OS is the regular adult size & fits everyone from an 8 year-old to an adult with a normal size head. Size XL was originally made for me, with my giant head. I can wear the OS but the XL is more comfortable and easier on my hairdo. If you have a small head the XL will be too big. If you have a lot of hair you want the XL. Measurements: OS = inside circumference unstretched = 24” OS crown = 9" XL = inside circumference unstretched = 25-1/2" XL crown = 9-1/2"
