The band has zero stretch. It closes at the back with three buttons and holds up the body of the dress. The top of the dress is gathered with a drawstring. The body is made of three black layered ruffles called tiers. The fabric is soft and flowing like chiffon. Please note that the buttons on the green band can be moved by hand if you need a different fit. Each button can be removed from its original stitching and sewn back on in a new position.
