Vintage bookends 10” Studious monks set

Nice set of wooden hand carved monk bookends. Would look amazing in your library study! The look on their faces is a unique, slightly comical, contemplating, studious look. These bookends are intricately carved down to the toes of the two monks. Please review photos for scuffing due to age. One monk has a scuff on his hat. Some light scuffing on back of bookends. Paint is still in amazing condition. Approx 10” tall. Monk bookends can represent studying scripture and living a cloistered life.
