Hand Made Off Shoulder Dress

This piece is inspired by the Cables and Lace Tunic pattern found on page 97 of Designer Crochet be Shannon Mullett-Bowlsby. I didn't keep any pattern notes of the changes I made to that design and have no plans to duplicate this work. It starts with a braided cable yoke that wraps the shoulders with a ribbed top edge that really hugs the shoulders. That section is worked with Dahlia Mixo in Pistachio and Cotton Kings fingering weight in Light Blue held together, both are 100% cotton. After seaming that section in the back, the rest of the dress is worked in the round with no further seaming. The yarns are separated and worked in offset alternating rows, giving the illusion of vertical striping even though this is worked in rounds. Several different hook sizes were used in the construction of the body of this dress, giving it light shaping.
