@dorislt1 yes.. it hit just below the knee.

@dianacarter252 I think it would be easy to remove the flower. It is sewn onto the lapel, but I feel sure it could be removed with a seam ripper or by a seamstress. It looks to be hand stitched rather than machine stitched.
