Vtg 2001 NINA LYMAN Hand-Painted Ceramic Cat Plate Large "Cats by Nina" 12.75" D

Dimensions: approximately 12.75" wide x 14" tall Colors: orange, cream, pink, brown, black This vintage art pottery plate was hand-painted and signed by artist Nina Lyman in 2001 for her "Cats by Nina" line. It features a striking orange tabby cat with vivid orange eyes. Large and substantial at over 2 pounds, this piece can be used as as a serving platter, tray, catchall, or simply a beautiful statement piece. Condition: Only by feeling the surface, I found a hairline crack on the underside and a small, nearly invisible chip on the left edge. Some crazing is present, meaning the glaze has subtle cracks (not the ceramic itself). Overall, this art plate is in very good vintage condition. Only by running my fingers over the surface of this plate did I discover a hariline crack on the underside. There's also a very small chip on the left edge of the plate that was easier to feel than see. There is also some crazing on the underside, which simply means the protective glaze has started to crack; it does *not* mean that ceramic itself is cracked. This art plate is in very good vintage condition. Cross-listed.
