This is a 4.43 carat blue oval cut faceted Zircon gemstone. This lovely zircon sparkles…it’s visibly included…but still gorgeous. Also called Starlite, Zircon is a magnificent stone. Blue zircons originally are brown-reddish and change into blue after heating process; Zircon is the oldest known gemstone, with some crystals dating back 4 billion years, but also perhaps the most misunderstood. Due to the similarity of zircon’s name to the lab created diamond simulant cubic zirconia, many people don’t realize that zircon is a beautiful, naturally occurring stone. Because of it tremendous fire and dispersion, Zircon has been considered a less-expensive stand-in for diamond.
