ariellebliss Could you please double check the waist measurement for a more exact number? I REALLY want this dress. I measured myself as a 30" waist the other day, but I was being conservative and allowing for extra breathing room.

ariellebliss How long is the bodice? What about the skirt length from where it attaches to the bodice? Sorry for all the questions. Looking for a dance competition costume and I'm hoping this might be just right.

av8 Waist seam laying flat, unstretched is 27." Lining is a knit with a fair amount of stretch. Overlaying fabric also has a fair amount of stretch & shelf bra has elastic. Fabric content is polyester with 10% spandex/spancel. Bodice is 11.25" from center front to the waist seam. This is about 14" from wearer's "hollow" to waist seam. The underskirt is 20" from waist seam to hem. The double layer handkerchief hem is 32" from waist seam to lowest point.

av8 I'm a dancer as well and think it would be a great competition dress if you can work with it. May want to sew on elastic straps since it's strapless. Can get fleshtone elastic at a sewing store, or cover white elastic with your foundation makeup to get closer to your skintone. You know the drill.
