anninmo67537 @belladonna1313 Endometrial cancer. I was married in August 2011 in my 40’s and we wanted a baby. I’d previously been on infertility pills for secondary infertility for a luteal phase defect and took them for much longer than recommended. ( I signed a release after much pleading).

anninmo67537 @belladonna1313 Anyway, I had been having very heavy, pretty much non-stop bleeding with clotting for about 90 days so my regular ob-gyn, bless his heart, sent me to a gynecologist that specialized in infertility cases. He wanted to do a biopsy, “just in case”. Blessings to me, because it was caught so early.

anninmo67537 @belladonna1313 When it came back positive for cancer, Dr. Hamilton then sent me to the best gynecological oncologist in Springfield ( in my opinion) Dr. Alfred Bonebrake. We decided on a radical hysterectomy using the Da Vinci robot with radiation afterwards.

anninmo67537 @belladonna1313 My roommate ended up being my son’s 5th grade teacher who also was just diagnosed and had a conventional hysterectomy. I remember she was so surprised that I could lie on my side. Our recovery was very, very different and I just had three tiny scars with one in my belly button. I would later have gall bladder surgery through the belly button and one of those scars; again with the Da Vinci.

anninmo67537 @belladonna1313 I highly recommend anyone having surgery to ask about it. I no longer have the stellar insurance that I had then so I’m afraid that option may be off of the table. I hope I’m through with abdominal surgeries! 😂 Anyway, my surgeon who is somewhat stoic, asked to hug me because he said he never gets to tell anyone they’re cured.

anninmo67537 @belladonna1313 But…my tumor was so small that they couldn’t even grade it and I wouldn’t need radiation. ☢️ So, you see; I couldn’t have had it too much easier. Yes, the fear was there, and recovery, surgical menopause and all that, but not what most cancer patients go through and I am forever thankful!

belladonna1313 @barnette xxoo I ended up getting pneumonia that's why I haven't been on I just came on today after a week just to write to people but I'm in bed I was in the hospital my magnesium and potassium were dangerously low so I had to get infusion but I'm trying I'm feeling a tad better but my chest still hurts and it feels heavy thank you for all you shares and thank you for all you do for me I'll be back soon XOXO

belladonna1313 @barnette I finally got u tyty so I rushed myself in the emergency room at 1:00 in the morning Monday morning and they did a CT scan and it showed I had pneumonia then I was feeling weak and every time I breathe I got a pain in my chest and it was on fire it's like a truck hit me they did my blood work and my electrolytes my potassium and magnesium or dangerously low

darkntwisty It’s just the user id I have. When I signed up I tried for hours but every user id I picked was chosen already. So between that and wanting my id to mean something to me I just used a little creativity. There are pricey custom Blythe dolls I am in love with, lol, so I just put it together that way. Probably TMI. I “talk”/type too much…had a first grade teacher that taped my and my classmate’s mouths shut for the day. She thought it was punishment, we thought it was funny.
