Vintage 1930s DEADSTOCK Men’s Sweatshirt D Pockets Waffle Knit Sweater Pullover

From a multi-generational estate of commercial painters working in Brooklyn and NYC from 1910s-1940s. Check other auctions for more items from this estate from 1910s-1930s. Beautiful and early deadstock pullover from 1920s-1930s. Very unusual piece somewhere between a sweatshirt and sweater, it’s almost like an early version of a waffle knit. The yarn seems to be some kind of cotton/wool blend and the yarn is a bit heathered giving it a mottled oat color. The piece has a rib knit collar, cuffs and waist band and beautiful D shaped pockets on the front. The piece is in excellent deadstock condition.
