My daughter loved these ballerina flats, with their actual toe-shoe shape and shiny stretchy ribbons. (The ribbons are fixed in place; you don't have to mess with them once they're positioned on the ankle.) They're all man-made materials, so you can wash them off if they get dirty (my daughter outgrew them before that happened), but they're soft and a convincing simulacrum of leather. At size 6, they fit big kids or small adults. This style is still being sold at Macy's and other retailers at time of listing.
