Vintage Sterling Silver Faux Pearl Fluted Amphora Post back Earrings for Pierced ears I can't say exactly what, but there's something really beautiful about these earrings. Such a simple design that I wouldn't call "fancy" but they really are just Elegant! I know that isn't much of a seller description, but, I suppose anyone who sees the incredible beauty in these as I do, won't care much what I have to say 😄 I haven't yet come across another exact pair of these, though I have come across similar, and they are often described as Etruscan and or Renaissance Revival - which does seem fitting. As for dating, I can only provide a guesstimate- Latest, 80's-early 90's but very possibly going back to late mid century 50's 60's. These feature a Creamy faux pearl, and are accented with a pebbled band. Solid Sterling-but, they actually aren't as heavy as they look, and should wear comfortably. They measure just short of an inch in length, and about 1/2 inch at widest point.
