The inseam was tailored to 29.5 inches (I wear only flat or low heels) and recently an extra tummy-flattening 3-inch waistband was added to make the rise higher and to prevent muffin top due to recent weight gain. On my body it now stops slightly above the waistline. The pants (without the waistband) fit me best when I was 5'4'' and around 148 pounds; at 160 pounds they still fit. If not needed, the waistband can be removed.
