Rare Mid-Century Mosaic Abalone Sea Horse

Beautiful seahorse brooch with mosaic design. Features iridescent tiles. Unique and eye-catching accessory. Rare mid-century handcrafted mosaic in laid abalone decorative seahorse drawer handle with 2 cup drawer pulls made in Mexico. Like any seahorse it is beautiful to look at, and it can be the focal point of any display of collectibles. The front and the back of the seahorse have breast finishes, the two drawer pulls have minor discoloration. Like all Los Castillo handcrafted items, each piece has a number engraved on it. The seahorse is numbered 188. The seahorse is about 6 1/4 inches from head to toe. It is about 2 1/4 inches at its widest point. It is in very good condition. Comes with original turquoise pouch.
