Vintage 1980-90's parrot Native American Zuni. Inlay hand crafted by Zuni artists Harlan and Monica Coonsis. A husband and wife which are best known for their mosaic inlay work. They began working in the 1970's. This pin/pendant is set with coral, turquoise, MOP, Lapis and shell with fine line etching on the feathers. Most of Coonsis's pieces that are similar sell for 675 to 800. Because of the small raised inlay approximately by the eye which is not loose I have discounted this considerably. The pendant measures 3" tall by 7/8" wide at the top of head. Hallmarked H M Coonsis.
