Lovely Frankoma Pottery Angel holding Bird. Height 8 1/2 inches. #152 Impressed in Clay on Bottom. More than likely from the period 1933 - 1954. It looks almost like a sandy brown clay fired with White Glossy Glaze. This would indicate that the clay came from Ada, OK. However, in certain light the clay looks darker, redder, and could be from Sapulpa, OK, where John Frank, a professor of art, ceramics, and clay, began the Frankoma Company in 1933.
