dmcarmel @lizaacosta739 - Hi Liz! I just tried on the boots (why am I selling these - they are SO cute) and the calf area measures 12 inches (see last two photos that I added). I have regular-sized ankles and there is plenty of extra room. Hope that helps! 😊 Debbie

dmcarmel @paul_irvine - I hear ya! I don’t think that you would need a Cobbler, though. I am 66 years old and have tried these on and I have to say that they are pretty darn comfy! I bought them to wear with a leather jacket but have ended up wearing a pair of short booties the same color as the jacket. I’m selling these at a very reduced price, but understand your hesitation 😊. Debbie
